The Four Thieves is an aromatic kraut in the European tradition. The particular herb mixture (lavender, sage, rosemary, and thyme) was believed to guard from the plague. They also make a most delicious sauerkraut. This flavor has become our signature kraut and is our best seller.
As the legend goes, four thieves were caught robbing various ill and dying individuals suffering from the plague. When brought before the court, they were offered a reduced sentence if they would divulge how they avoided catching the plague. Their secret, according to the legend? This herb mixture.
A classic sauerkraut infused with caraway seeds and juniper berries. Many have called this “the best sauerkraut I’ve ever tasted!” Its flavor is reminiscent of a traditional rye bread and it is packed with probiotics and living enzymes.
Besides the flavor, caraway is known to calm the digestive tract and is used to treat menstrual cramps and gallbladder spasms, and relieve the feeling of bloating associated with indigestion. Juniper is known to prevent heartburn, among other things. Enjoy!

Kimchi Karma is our California version of a Korean kimchi, defined by its base spices of ginger, garlic, onions, and peppers. In our flavorful variation, we add curry spices and green cabbage, carrots, and daikon radish. It is spicy, pungent, and flavorful. Like one of our fans says, “This is the yummiest, most healing, love-filled kimchi I have ever tasted.”
